Ross MacDonald
Ross MacDonald, a BC native, is one of Canada's most successful international sailors. He has won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens, Greece in the men's Star event, and a bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona, Spain in the same event.
Ross currently runs the North Sails loft in Vancouver, where he recently took over from long-time sail maker and fellow Olympian, Dave Miller. In August 2010, SASKIA II competed in the 6 Meter North American Championships, held in Port Townsend, Washington, where Ross was at the helm, driving SASKIA II to a 1st place in the classics division and a 3rd place in overall results.
