Perhaps more importantly for the offshore sailor, Dyneema also delivers unequaled resistance to wear from creasing and flex plus excellent UV resistance. Radial construction also contributes to superior shapeholding. Premium Paneled 480 sails feature carbon fiber reinforced Dyneema laminate.
Premium Paneled 400 & 480 sails are designed for cruising boats 40 feet to SuperYachts and can be specifically optimized for performance cruising, class racing, handicap rules or rating rules. 400 sails are also available with North's Gatorback™ diagonal X yarn reinforcement for additional shapeholding resulting in race level sail performance suitable for a long life at sea.
